Video: Mom Health & Vitamins
Being a working mom is tough. Anyone who says otherwise is pretty much lying. Before I had my son I wasn't the best at taking care of myself. I always could've been sleeping more, drinking more water, exercising more, losing those few extra pounds, etc., etc. When I had my son, self-care went so completely out the window that I never even had time to think about all the things I shoulda coulda woulda been doing to take care of myself.
About a year ago I started making a few easy changes to jumpstart a little self-care, we're talking major baby steps. There are three vitamin supplements I now take every morning that so drastically improve my energy levels and ability to get stuff done that without them I don't know what I'd do with myself. I talk about my vitamin routine in this video in the hopes of encouraging all your busy working mamas out there to make changes -- however small -- to start taking better care of yourself. There are a million other things I still could be doing, but at least most days I feel good, which has made all the difference.
